Which E-mail Autoresponder Is The Best For Affiliate Marketing?
If you are going to do any business online, affiliate or otherwise, you will need to gather emails in order to increase your chances of success.
Every guru online talks about it.
You know it. I know it. Even your grandparents know it.
Why do you need an email list?
Well, it’s because your email list is the only true asset you can have online.
It is because your email list is the only traffic source YOU OWN!
After you captured their information, you can further develop a relationship with your prospects, and then sell them your products, or your affiliate products; many times after.
Ok Miodrag, I know that. The thing is, two autoresponders I had in the past shut me down because I was using affiliate links, what should I do?
I hear ya! Loud and clear.
And that brings me to our topic.
Which autoresponder is THE BEST for affiliate marketers?
After doing some hard research, and getting burned myself, I came to the conclusion that the best Email autoresponder for affiliate marketing is Get Response!
I’ll get into why in a second, but I want to say there is another autoresponder that is affiliate marketing-friendly, however, after using it for 3 months, I did not like it!
Now, not to throw any rocks, that is my opinion. The autoresponder is Aweber. I will not offer any affiliate links for it, because I personally do not like or use it, and I would not recommend it to my fellow affiliates for that very reason.
The reasons why I absolutely love Get Response are next:
- It has 30 days free trial.
All other autoresponders (that I know of) are offering 14 days free trial.
If you are a beginner, on a budget, or just need some more time to test the waters, twice as much time for a free trail is a big deal. You’ll have more than enough time to see if it’s the right fit for you.
- It is affiliate marketing friendly.
As stated before, one of the reasons I love GR is that they allow you to place affiliate links in your emails.
This does not mean you should SPAM your every email with affiliate links. It should come at the right time, and not in every email. I’ll get into the strategy in another blog post.
- 24/7 support.
Let me be honest. I am a super anti technical person. The first month of my free trial, I had to contact support like 20 times (it was more, but shh). And what absolutely blew my mind was that they literally have a small box at the left of your screen where you may chat with support on a click of a button. Easy as that. Better yet, they resolved my every issue with one interaction. If you are not technically savvy, this might just be for you my friend.
- The visual effect, and drag and drop editor.
Unlike Aweber, GR has very nice ingrained visual effects of your email sequence. You can see the emails being sent, different tags splits and much more! Also, you get to drag and drop boxes and set the actions they represent!
- Landing pages.
Whatever the affiliate product may be, you will need a landing page before you send your leads to your affiliate offer (if you want it done right.)
Now say you are on a really tight budget, and you can’t afford Click Funnels or some other funnel building software.
Well, I got good news for you.
Even on the lowest plan for Get Response, you get landing page builder! Doesn’t that make you jump out of your chair!?
This is one of the things I was missing out back when I was using Aweber. It was super clanky and hard to maneuver. But with GR, it is pretty straight forward. Easy to use, easy to understand, and comes with 24/7 support, even if you have some issues.
Not only do you get 30 days free trial, but GR’s lowest plan is the lowest plan I found. It is only 15 dollars a month for under 1000 subscribers!
As your list grows, so does the expense, but by that time, you get to monetize it!
This brings me now to what I consider to be cons of GR.
The one thing I really didn’t like was that after the free trial when you use the lowest monthly paying option, your drag and drop editor is limited to pre-build. You do not have the ability to manually create the sequence, but you have to use the pre-build ones (although, there are a lot of templates to be used.)
Another thing I do not like is the subscribers count. This means that if you have 2 different lists, and the email on both of them, they are counted separately.
However, unlike Aweber, they do not charge you for deleted subscribers!
Alright fam you had it!
The best autoresponder, in my opinion, to use if you want to do affiliate marketing and if you are a beginner on a tight budget.
This brings me to my last point.
Disclaimer: links that I have provided in this blog post are affiliate links!
That also brings me to the last point:
Get Response has an awesome affiliate program if you want to use it yourself in the future!
